I awoke wanting to make a summery card and since this is my ALL time favorite color I decided to use it. I got out two of my favorite Memory Box dies and the border one from Simon Says that is actually made by Memory Box! I have had these embossing powders for years. I used Sparkle N and Sprinkle Opaque Indian Spark to create a spray of color in the center of the butterfly on the body and under the panel made with the Simon Says die. I drug my Versamark over the paper and then applied the Indian Spark to it. I heat set it and then layered the Circle Border die over it after die cutting it on my white panel. I left a space for the sentiment (not a new idea). I also used the ep on the stems and some part of the leaves. I punched three flowers with the Punch Bunch punch formed and used Pool Side Cosmic-Opaque ep in the centers.
I was to lazy to drag out my light box and decided to take the photo on my dining room table.
Thank you for stopping by to take a look!

No one can do "delicate" like you do! Your use of the beautiful aquamarine blue embossing powder is gorgeous! I love the use of the border die, leaving space for your greeting. I have never used the technique. How wonderful it looks rather than adding a label. This is fabulous, Peggy!

Ooooh, Peggy! How beautiful! The color is perfect for such a delicate design, and I love how you sparkled the leaf veins. That thin blue layer underneath is the perfect element to tie the whole thing together. You did an amazing job!

This is the perfect "cool" card for this hot day, Peggy! Beautiful and refreshing, like a dip in a crystal clear pool of water! The blue shimmer is gorgeous on the white!

Peggy my friend, don't ever stop making these lovely die cut beauties. This is so gorgeous. I love the sparkle behind the die cut frame (don't you just love that die?). Always lovely feminine designs that make our hearts sigh.
